Tete-e-Tete with the Team of TastyKhana!

So the other day I was invited to a Dinner with the team of and some Food Bloggers from Pune. I was so excited at the opportunity of meeting and interacting with new people and also to get to know a little more about the conceptualization of Being an extrovert by nature I would've walked in alone, delighted at the idea of meeting a bunch of strangers unlike a lot of people who would've squirmed at the notion haha! But nonetheless a friend of mine seemed really eager to be a part of the event and I gladly took her along.
The event venue was finalized and Malaka Spice was decided upon. Brownie Point to TastyKhana for narrowing down on Malaka spice as its one of my Favourite restaurants, owing to its delicious oriental spread.
I walked in at around 8:30pm only to be guided to a cozy, corner seating of a large table with a bunch of strangers who greeted me with happy faces! Such a delight to a people's person like me! I happened to sit down next to the CEO & Founder of, Sachin Bharadwaj.
He along with Sheldon D'souza conceptualized this venture which is fast growing! The website went live in 2007 and was founded to facilitate food ordering for the developing and evolving population in the modern day scenario. I learnt from him, that its services are operating in 8 major cities in India: Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Delhi, Noida, Faridabad & Ghaziabad. It has partnered with over 5000 restaurants spreading across its national network! It offers its users, the convenience of choosing a restaurant in their area, selecting their preferred meal items by browsing through the menus on the website and by placing the order online for delivery to the desired location. As easy as that, all with the ease of a few buttons. Payments can be made online or through Cash On Delivery. They also have an accumulating online Trinket Account, created for every customer for their payment convenience. This option is also available for Corporates under Corporate Trinket Account, and Corporate Privilege Card to get discounted rates. They also offer a True Kare Guarantee where the user is protected against any discrepancies, dissatisfaction in terms of quality etc.
Moving on, we had a delicious spread of food, and here is a small glimpse of the items on the menu! The rest I was too busy gobbling to click any pictures! ;)
PS: Most of the pictures were taken in a cell phone's Night Mode hence please excuse the clarity! :)

Sunday Siesta

Sundays are usually a day to either stay in or relax and 'chill' with friends and family. Well, for me, to catch up on pending personal work too! It was long scheduled to meet my fellow blogger & dear friend, Poorva from Style Spectrum. She owns & runs this really nice Fashion & Lifestyle blog just like mine & we happened to bond over that! Yes, tons of collaborated work coming up real soon!
I decided, what better than a Sunday with some Sangria? We headed to Cafe 1730 in Koregaon Park. Tucked away at the end of lane 6, amidst the lush green locality of Koregaon Park in Pune, this place boasts of great food and beverages.

Started in 2010, but recently relaunched with a newer look in 2013, this is a perfect place for some Wine 'n' Dine!

They usually have tons of offers and Sundays are full of great deals & serve liquor through the day along with fresh fruit cocktails too! Rs.500/- for unlimited mojitos, wine and other beverages and great discounts and deals on their fabulous food menu on Sundays tend to attract a lot of crowd to this place that can seat around 100 people!
Heading there, we noticed the vintage-y touch to the place which added to their ambience. Framed pictures of music artists of yesteryear's, newer renditions of old paintings, fun characters etc, all over their wallpapered walls.

They also had this tiny mezzanine extension kinda floor with the prettiest windows ever! Its usually where they get their live bands to jam & perform on Fridays or hold Karaoke sessions! Now doesn't the Karaoke bit sound FUN?

We both were seated well by the manager himself, Mr.Mayan, in a cute corner seating for two where we bloggers could chatter away & or course click tons of pictures haha! Perfect!! Handing us their menu card, we had our personal server explain their much loved dishes.

We landed up taking his advice on ordering Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheese Dip as our appetizer. Succulent & well cooked chicken paired with their blue cheese dip was just the right way to start a meal for us foodies!

For main course they offer a good choice of meats for meat lovers as well as fresh veggies for vegetarians. Poorva & I ordered Chicken Steak with Pepper Sauce and Fish Italiano.

The chunk of chicken was marinated well & cooked to perfection. Pepper being my favourite spice just added to the dish!

The Fish fillet in our Fish Italiano, was a good sized fillet, grilled & topped with tomato concussey which was delicious & also garnished with grated cheese.

Both the dishes with accompanied with creamy mashed potatoes & grilled veggies. The food was really value for money. Not to miss, our delicious Apple Sangrias which were deliciously refreshing!

We landed up spending quite a while while we caught up on some work & prospects of future collaborations too! In the end we were so stuffed that we had no room for dessert!

They have an in-house bakery with freshly baked breads, croissants & desserts! We just had to leave that for next time maybe?

We had a blast and would definitely visit again! Do pay this place a visit soon! On a Sunday maybe? ;)

A Giftease Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day peeps!

Theres no better way to celebrate this day than to be with people you love! Be is a friend, best friend, sister, brother, a lover or my dear followers!
So I was super confused what to gift my valentine on this day, and though I don't really believe in this concept of 'one particular day' in the celebration of Love, but I couldn't help and gave in to the so called 'LOVE' floating in the air, the entire week! haha!
I landed up consulting a friend who suggested I go to the store called GIFTEASE, in Phoenix, Pune. Since it is quite close to my house, I decided to go there on my way back from work. Its a delightful store, big and spacious and carries tons of gifts and 'gifting ideas' if I may say so (quirky gifts like funky tea coasters etc)
BUT! I wanted to deliver my gift to 'HIS' house directly as I dint want my parents eyeing me suspiciously as I walk outta my house with big bags of wrapped up gifts and flowers on VALENTINE'S DAY! haha!
My friend then told me about their website  that delivers anywhere in India, precisely more than 5000 locations! I was even more confused as to what I should pick thanks to their tons of different categories of products haha! In fact what makes them stand out is that, they have the option to even gift 'experiences' like dining for two or a relaxing spa for two! Well apart from the numerous arrangements of flowers that one can choose along with some cute gifts for 'HIM' or 'HER' *wink* Isn't that just crazy?? 'GIFT WIZ' option filters your search according to your needs, saving you alot of time! Also, I dint really remember his exact address and dint have the time to find out without him knowing so I used their 'GIFT VIA EMAIL' option and just shared his email id that I got from his facebook account (haha smart me!) and bam they would do the rest of finally delivering it to his exact address!! How cool is that? In short I picked a cute Valentine's Day hamper and sent it! I'm sure he'll be super surprised and love the idea! And in turn I will surely get some loving hehe! ;)

A little know-how: Based out of Pune, Giftease operates, which offers handpicked choices across a wide range of categories including Home & lifestyle products, Toys & Games, Fashion accessories, Jewellery, gadgets, flowers, chocolates and more. offers a unique gifting experience, through improved website usability for finding the perfect gift fast, fixed date delivery, choice of exquisite gift wrapping options, gift exchanges and more features are in the works, to make the experience fun and special.
Giftease was incorporated in Feb 2012 and started operations with a Mall store at Phoenix Market City, Pune, in Nov 2013, followed up with the launch of the website in May 2013. Giftease’s main promoter is Arun Nathani, a very successful technology entrepreneur, who is the founder-CEO of Cybage Software Pvt ltd. The management team at Giftease comprises Vivek Mathur, CEO and AshishChandani, Co-founder & COO.

 Cute Mushy Gifts for HER?

Or Sexy Manly Fragrances for HIM?

Or Naughty Gifts for Either?! Haha!

Gift Wiz option which filters your search for the ones always in a rush! ;)

Gift via Email option!

It sure was a life saver! ;)

What I Picked! YES, I am quite a Romantic! :P
Hope you enjoyed this personal experience of mine!

Winter Sun

Sorry peeps for being MIA! I've had so much going on in my life that I barely found time to blog. A part of my new year's resolution was that I would devote a lot more time to blogging so here, I am Back!!

There is something about the winter's sun, that leaves me with hope after a struggle.
Waiting for a warmer day tomorrow, after going through with a long, cold, shivering night.
It symbolises so much of Positivity and Optimism that there is always a better tomorrow no matter what!

Pune, is not only a sibling of the much nosier Mumbai, full of hustle bustle, but it is also a lot cooler during winters. It experiences quite chilly nights at times! Hence warmer days, approaching are welcomed graciously!

This outfit of mine: Floral pants, plain white tank top, and a denim jacket over that to warm against the erratic chills, is quite apt for this perfect climate! The tan bag and the shoes add to warm appearance of the outfit! I added a dash of colour with the orange statement necklace! :)

Enjoy my pictures and do leave a feedback below in the comments! I would love to hear from you and re-connect! :)

Floral Pants: Cupid, Pune
Metallic Belt: Zara Collection
White Tank: Promod
Denim Shirt: American Eagle
Love chain, Ring: Accessorize

The red pants had a scalloped detailing on the hips and the top had a beautiful jeweled print. The jeweled print looked so pretty and real against the lighting at the shoot location. I totally fell in love with it!
Accessories were a clutch, a gold cuff and a gold head-band that added an extra zing to the outfit. Heels were my own from Zara. :)
