Get Fit With Tiny Tea ft Pretty Secrets

This post was long overdue and I had been meaning to write about my experience with Tiny Tea's 28 day detox and fresh tea. Last year, I went on a trip to the Himalayas and all the hiking and extremes conditions made me lose tons of weight. I actually landed up looking unwell instead of healthy and I binged on all the possible fattening food that could help regain my usual health. As a result, I experienced bloating and the oily, fatty foods were so unhealthy I just could not eat all that any more!

I came across Tiny Tea's Instagram account, and happened to get my hands on their 28 day detox tea. If you guys don't follow me on Instagram, one of my New Year's resolutions was to eat healthier and get fit! I have been all about eating healthy and eating 'right' and I really hope this will help my body get healthier hehe! Teas of various kinds are my new-found love and this certainly was a winner for me! I experienced lesser bloating in just 10 days of drinking this tea. I took a cup in the morning and one at night before going to bed. It not only helped me get better sleep but helped my tummy go back in slightly haha!

We Indian women should be proud of our curves, yet being in shape is very very important! Best part is, these guys have a large assortment of teas catering to different needs and you guys should definitely check out their website for further details! I'm still in the process of completing my 28-day tea course so follow me on my instagram account for more updates!!

Style Yourself With Flipkart

Recently, I was invited to my MBA college to attend the junior's Farewell function and judge the Mr & Miss contests! (Yay!) All I did for a few days before the function was wonder what to wear?! Such a typical plight of a girl haha! ;) Even though my mom thinks I own a ridiculously large amount of apparel, I fail to agree! (Hahahaha or maybe I secretly do!).

During one of my quick tea breaks in office a colleague told me about how she was done with her work for the day and would be using the office wifi to shop on Flipkart! Hahahah Yuuus, we hacked in! I hope no one from office is reading this Lol! I went straight home, downloaded the Flipkart app and guess what? So Much Variety! Man! I was spoilt for choice!! And to my luck, Flipkart had this huge sale going on where I managed to scored this pretty lace dress for an UNBELIEVABLE price of INR 295/- !! Yes, you heard me!! Rs. 295/- ONLYYY!! Such a steal! It was originally priced at 1899/- and I was ecstatic haha!

I landed up buying these floral heels and this vintage silver Casio watch as well, and the watch was 945/-, and heels only 1099/- Crazy sales huh? I guess I got lucky!

They still have crazy sales on though! Rush and see if you manage to score something too! Don't forget to check out their new website www.flipkartfashionforeveryone.com and hashtag your shopping spree pictures with #FashionForEveryone to get a chance to win vouchers!! Take Me To Paris - How To Style A Faux Fur Coat

Now that I'm finally working a 9-5 job as a Financial Analyst and earning some good bucks, I cannot wait to save up and travel the world! I'm currently in the midst of planning a trip to some place exotic and one place I've always been obsessed with is Paris!! Moreover, last year I took part in a competition where the grand prize was an all expense paid trip to the City of Love! When I didn't win it, I made up my mind to go to Paris on my own, someday! I'm not sure, if I'll be going to Paris or any other place yet, haha! *Shhh, I'll reveal it all later*

When I got myself this fur jacket, all I could think of was wearing it someday with a top knot bun & red lips, for a quiet dinner in a quaint Parisian restaurant with my beau! So romantic and SO GLAM!! The faux fur jacket can be worn down over a pair of denims and a laid back white tee too! Also, I actually bought it from the streets last year for a mere INR 200/- *Can You Believe It?* Haha! Well, finders keepers, they say!!

Here, I styled it with a gorgeous pair of flared black pants from StalkBuyLove & a cute white crop top with a lovely neckline that I scored during the massive Flipkart sale!! The earrings reminded me of my Parisian dream and hence here I am writing out this article and making random travel plans for my birthday! I cannot wait! ;) Enjoy the pictures that were clicked by my patient little brother, Anshuman!

Winter Sun: How to Style Overcoats

Indian winters are rarely what the rest of the people around the world would call 'COLD' !! Baring northern India of course where the temperatures drop quite substantially, enough to fish out all the pretty overcoats, thick woolen sweaters, leather jackets etc. The western region, where I live gets only comfortably cold and Pune, my city, tends to get much colder than the rest of the cities in Maharashtra. Hence the winter season is my favourite! Only because I get to wear those gorgeous coats, blazers, jackets etc!! ;)

I came across one such gorgeous overcoat on my favourite website, StalkBuyLove. It was love-at-first-sight!! Overcoat + Red = Love !! I knew I just had to get the overcoat for myself! Best Part: Its not made of a very thick fabric and so it can be worn all the year round!! Win-Win for all those living in a country like India where most of the year it's just - Hot! :|

The red overcoat has a thin satin lining making it super soft and I was sold just on the lovely 'wearable' length! It's just perfect to jazz up your dresses in winters and also keep yourself warm without looking like you're wearing a sweater knit by your great grandmom hehe! Not that I don't love those sweaters!! You should see my huge collection of handmade sweaters made with love which I cherish!

I wanted to keep the look simple and understated so that my Red overcoat could grab all the attention it wanted! I wore a turtle neck ribbed top, white pants and threw on a silver metallic clutch from Vajor. Not to forget my Daniel Wellington watch which has become quite a staple haha! The watch just complemented my entire subtle white look owing to its white and navy striped NATO strap. Such a beauty! Don't forget to check out their website for more options in watches!

Of Knit Dresses : Fall Winter Edition

With the advent of my favourite season, I was super excited to get all my winter wear out to play this chilly season. Even though I'm a total summer baby as I was born in April, the winter season is one I really enjoy inspite of complaining of the cold temperature 24x7 haha!
My excitement for the winters isn't only about the cool temperatures, but also for being able to stock up on all the gorgeous jackets, knitwear, overcoats, boots etc Yes? You feel me? I LOVE winter wear! The one thing I didn't own yet was a chic everyday plain-jane knit sweater which i could throw on and be able to style it by playing around with accessories. When I happened to come across chicwish's account on Instagram, I was curious to try it out and I thought of getting myself this cute, plain, grey sweater dress which is so easy to style!!

PS: I even styled it as a loose laidback top, tucked into a marsala coloured skirt with a flair. {Check out how I styled this grey shift dress as a top in my next post! ;) Talk about re-using clothes, eh?}
Here's a Sneak-Peak!!

The best part about the website is that even though it is a website based out of our country India, it was extremely quick delivery! This is something I am particular about as sometimes I shop for certain occasions and hence I'm time bound, but this works out perfectly.

Another thing that I noticed, it had such a large variety of clothes to choose from that it left me so confused, I landed up taking 2-3 days to choose just 2 dresses hehe! Spoilt for choice!! They accept various modes of payment and their customer service was great in terms of choosing a size! Certainly a thumbs up from me!! I also got myself a gorgeous nautical striped maxi dress! Can't wait to show you guys the images I clicked with the dress!! Give their website a peak here if you need to shop for some awesome clothing: www.chicwish.com :)

Also, notice my watch? Daniel Wellington sure has me obssessed!! The NATO strap has gotten me hooked! It adds a peppy look to the entire attire and sometimes I find myself choosing it over my other watches even as I head out for a formal dinner!! PS: Btw, my immediate boss at work landed up buying a DW watch in a similar style haha! And guess what? The watch can be used as a unisex one as well! Notice how my brother managed to sport it too? Check out their website here: www.danielwellington.com :)
